Reaching Eagle Scout early

| 23 Feb 2012 | 12:40

Robert Ruth, 14, was honored by Mayor Bettina Bieri and the West Milford Township Council Wednesday for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Robert is one of the youngest in the township to achieve the honor. His Eagle Scout project was a cemetery conservation project at Old Union Cemetery in Hope. He and his helpers put in over 600 hours to complete the project, which was done last summer. Robert is a member of Scoutmaster Glenn Morris's Troop 146 in Hewitt. He is the son of Bob and Theresa Ruth.
