WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Board of Education meetings are now available to view online at the district's Web site.
Currently, the Jan. 7 Strategic Planning/Reorganization meeting is posted to be viewed or downloaded. Go to the district's Web site, wmtps.org, and click on WM Media tab at the top.
Trustee Wayne Gottlieb noted that there were no media department personnel present, nor was a camera set up to record the Jan. 28 meeting. Business Administrator Barbara Francisco said there was probably no one available to do it since the meeting was rescheduled from Jan. 21 due to snow.
The district is also working on the possibility of live broadcast streaming of meetings. Superintendent of Schools James McLaughlin commented that a test run of the live broadcast streaming program was used for a recent school wrestling match. As a result, live broadcast streaming of school board meetings may be available in West Milford in the near future.
The district Web site offers advice for viewers. “Board Meeting video files are large due to their length and may take a while to load depending on your bandwidth at home. You additionally have the option of directly downloading the videos by right clicking (or control-click on a Mac) the link below each video and choose ‘Save Link As...’ to save the document to your computer”.
