Boy Scouts from Troop 159 out of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Hewitt recently gathered at West Milford Town Hall with their Scoutmaster Tim Kopko for a D.A.R.E. presentation with Sergeant Joe Nevin of the West Milford Police Department. D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) helps teach children about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse, as well as teaching them techniques to resist negative peer pressure.
