Seussical, the Musical is fun for the entire family

RINGWOOD — St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Guild presents Seussical, the Musical, Friday and Saturday, Aug. 3 and 4, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 5, at 2 p.m.

Seussical, the Musical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza bringing to life some of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and JoJo, a little boy with a big imagination. "Oh, the Thinks You Can Think" captures the show's spirit, as the colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant in a story that makes you laugh and cry.

Seussical, the Musical is directed and produced by Leslie Silverman with Chick Barnes as music director. Actors from throughout the region, including West Milford, are part of the show.

St. Catherine of Bologna Performing Arts Guild is a non-profit community theater organization under the sponsorship of St. Catherine of Bologna Parish in Ringwood. The Guild is non-denominational. It exists to promote cultural awareness and growth and to enhance community spirit through the performing arts.
