RINGWOOD — Skylands Clean is holding a Fall/Early Winter photo contest. Ribbons will be awarded for photographs that best capture the Highlands region in which we live. Contest participants will be placed into one of two age categories; under age 16, and those 16 years of age and above. There will also be a "Best of Show" award which will be chosen from all entries.
The rules of the contest are:
Participants may enter one photograph for each of the following categories:
A Flora i.e., plants found within the Highlands region
B. Fauna i.e., animals or insects found within the Highlands region
C. Photos of scenery located in the Highlands region
Submitted photos shall be printed in a 5x7 format.
Entrants should provide their name, address, phone number, age category, and if available an email address. This can be placed on the back of the submitted photograph or on a separate piece of paper.
Submitted photos will not be returned unless a self addresses and stamped envelope is provided.
If photographs contain a recognizable person, that person must sign a release form.

Entrants must to be residents of either Bloomingdale, Pompton Lakes, Ringwood, Wanaque, or West Milford.
Some of the winning photographs will be displayed in local libraries, and the names of contest winners will be provided to area newspapers for publication.
