WEST MILFORD — The Macopin Band Winter concert was snowed out on Dec. 17 but was worth the one-day wait as the 7th and 8th grade bands took to the West Milford High School auditorium stage on Dec. 18 and brought some wonderful music to the crowd.

The Macopin 7th Grade Band, conducted by Matthew Paccione, performed "The Star Spangled Banner," "The Dance of the Slippery Slide Trombones," "Christmas Swings," "Hanukkah is Here," and "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town."

The 8th Grade Band, with instruction by Matthew Gramata and instruction and conducted by Erica McPartland, performed "Angelic Festival," "Fantasy on 'O Tannebaum'," "Rocking Carol," "American Bell Carol," and "A Jazzy Christmas." They were joined by the West Milford High School Wind Ensemble to perform "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" for the finale.
