The New Jersey Botanical Garden in Ringwood will sponsor a free hands-on Lilac Workshop on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Attendees will work with NJBG Head Landscape Designer Rich Flynn to restore and improve the New Jersey State Botanical Garden’s renowned lilac collection. Mr. Flynn will give a lesson on lilac care and cultivation at 10 a.m.
The free workshop will give attendees a chance to learn by doing, and to get answers to any questions they may have.
Beginners are welcome, and attendees should bring a lunch, gloves, rakes and pruners if owned.
