    Brittany Veninger of Hewitt was named to the fall 2013 dean's list at The University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

    Olivia R. Schultz of West Milford has been named to the Stevens Institute of Technology dean's list for the fall 2013 semester. To be eligible for the dean's list, you must be in good academic standing, have earned at least 12 credits, and have an overall B (3.0) average for all courses completed during the term, with no failures and no more than one withdrawal.

    The following students at William Paterson University in Wayne have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. In order to qualify, a student must carry a minimum of 12 credits for the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.45 or better.

    William Peace University, a private four-year university located in Raleigh, N.C., has named Alyssa Kasper of West Milford to the 2013 fall dean's list with Distinction. Kasper, along with 56 other students, maintained a GPA of at least 3.7 and earned passing grades in all courses for the fall semester.

    Ashley Beard of West Milford who attends Dominican College in New York, was inducted into Psi Chi, the national and international honor society in psychology. Psi Chi was founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications.

    In order to achieve this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.
