    Sandra Leonard of Hewitt finished her junior year at William Paterson University with a 3.9 GPA, putting her on William Paterson’s dean’s list for the third time as well as the College of Science and Health’s dean’s list for a second time. Leonard is majoring in public health with a concentration in education and a minor in psychology. She was inducted into Tau Sigma Honor Society in the fall of 2014 for academic excellence for transfer students.


    Jordan Den Herder of West Milford was accepted into The University of Scranton's Kania School of Management Business Leadership Honors Program. This highly-selective program accepts 15 sophomores from all majors each spring. During their junior and senior year, students will explore the basic theories and concepts of leadership through special seminars and courses in management, ethics, strategy and analysis, in addition to field trips to learn from top executives and projects in leadership, service and mentoring. In the mentorship phase, students work with community business leaders on the application of theory to real-world problems. Den Herder is majoring in finance and mathematics at the Jesuit university.


    Matthew Weaver of West Milford has been awarded a full scholarship from Lincoln Technical Institute in Mahwah. He will study and train in the CNC Machining & Manufacturing Program starting in August. He has plans to become a mechanical engineer with further education.


    Kirsten Ann Dahl of Newfoundland and Rubi A. Mink of West Milford, have been named to the spring 2015 dean's list at Kutztown University. To be eligible for dean's list, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.6.


    West Milford native Matthew Doherty, a member of the class of 2015, was named to the spring 2015 dean's list at Stonehill College. To qualify for the dean's list, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered. Doherty is a computer science major.


    Christa R. Callamari of West Milford has been named to the Sussex County Community College dean’s list for the spring 2015 semester.


    Cassandra Feuerstack of Hewitt and Theodore E. Davi of West Milford were named to the SUNY (State University of New York) Orange dean’s list for the spring 2015. Students who achieve at least a 3.0 quality point average (QPA) make the dean's list.


    Brittany Veninger of Hewitt was named to the spring 2015 dean's list at The University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
