    Talented psychology students at Eastern Connecticut State University were awarded "departmental honors." Among them was Lisa Macari, class of 2016 of West Milford. Macari majors in psychology early childhood education.
    Eastern students who are awarded departmental honors in psychology must earn an A- or better in Behavioral Science Statistics and Research Methods I, attain a 3.5 GPA in psychology and an overall GPA of 3.5. Students must also complete an independent study, teaching assistantship or research assistantship in psychology, and present research at CSU Psychology Day.
    Krystyna Resavy of West Milford was named to Emerson College's dean's list for the spring 2016 semester. Resavy is majoring in theatre studies: acting. The requirement to make Emerson's dean's list is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher.
    Kathleen Christman of Hewitt has been named to the spring 2016 dean's list at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania.
    To be named to the dean's list, a student must attend the university full-time and attain at least a 3.5 QPA for the semester.
    Lisa Macari of West Milford graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and early childhood education from Eastern Connecticut State University.
    Sydney Boratto of Hewitt made the dean's list for the spring 2016 semester at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. In order to be named to the dean's list, students must attain a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the semester based on a 4.0 scale.
    Anthony Konopka of West Milford graduated with a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University in spring 2016. During commencement ceremonies on May 23, Lehigh conferred 1,159 bachelor's, 519 master's and 80 doctoral degrees to nearly 1,700 graduates.
    Bryan J. Hunt of Hewitt received a bachelor of science degree with great distinction in mechanical engineering from Clarkson University on May 7.
