WEST MILFORD — The West Milford Animal Shelter currently has eleven dogs and 60 cats and kittens available for adoption. While these homeless animals are waiting for their new families to take them to their new forever home, supplies are needed to care for them.
The items most needed are:
Pedigree Canned Dog Food (any variety)
Pedigree Small Crunchy Bites Dry Dog Food
Purina Cat Show Dry Cat Food (blue bag)
Canned Cat Food - Pate Style (chunk or shredded style in not suited for kittens)
Rubber Household Gloves
New Brooms - broomstick style with corn bristles
Volunteers
Donations may be dropped off at the shelter on Lycosky Drive (behind recycling) Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations may also be left in the bin at the exit of the West Milford ShopRite.

The West Milford Animal Shelter is a 100 percent volunteer shelter. All donations directly benefit the animals at the shelter. Donations are also tax-deductible.
