Activity/Sport: Field hockey
1. How did you get involved with field hockey?
I got involved with field hockey in elementary school when a few of my friends joined the travel team. I loved it from the start and I’ve been playing ever since!
2. Who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration is my sister, Carly, because I have always looked up to her. She’s the most caring person I know, and I don’t know where I would be without her!
3. What would most people be surprised to know about field hockey?
Most people would be surprised to know how much the field hockey team trains. We do conditioning every day because players run up to 6 miles in a game.
4. What do you do with your time, when you are not playing field hockey?
During the winter I’m always snowboarding. It’s one of my favorite things to do, and I’ve met a ton of awesome people through it.
5. Share something no one knows about you.
Nobody knows that I would love to move to Hawaii and start a band with my friends Connor and Sam.

6. Who is your favorite teacher of all time? Why?
I really don’t have a favorite. I’ve had so many good teachers and I can’t pick one!
7. Name three things you would bring with you if you were on a deserted island?
I can’t think of three things important enough to bring, and I would be way too afraid to go alone, so I would probably bring three friends and we could worry about the rest when we got there!
8. Share a favorite moment with your team.
My favorite moment with my team was beating Wayne Hills the third time we played them, and making it into state sectional finals. We’re like a huge family, and it was an amazing moment for us to share together because it proved how all of the hard work paid off.
9. What does being a Highlander mean to you?
Being a Highlander is understanding that nothing good will come easy, and that you can achieve anything if you devote yourself to it.
10. What is your favorite movie, book or character? Why?
My favorite book is Looking for Alaska by John Green. There were so many feelings and emotions packed into this book, and it kept me interested until the last page.
