NEWARK, DEL. — New Jersey commercial tax preparers are invited to the Practitioner Institutes sponsored by the New Jersey Association of Public Accountants (NJAPA), Internal Revenue Service, New Jersey Division of Taxation, and cooperating colleges/universities.
The one-day institutes will be held during October and November at seven locations throughout the state and are geared toward the intermediate and advanced tax preparers with no pre-requisite required.

New Legislation and Overview of 2012 Income Tax Law Changes
Identity Protection Pin
Audit Procedures for Practitioners
New Correspondence for Taxpayers

NJ Income Tax Update
Information from New Jersey Criminal Investigations
Information from Taxpayer Correspondence/Audit
Each session begins at 8:30 a.m., with lunch, and concludes at 4:30 p.m. Eight Continuing Professional Education credits will be issued in Taxation and six Continuing Education credits for enrolled agents and registered tax return preparers to those who complete the session.
The pre-registration fee for commercial tax preparers is $130 ($35 for full-time students with ID). The fee for those who register at the door is $145.
