WEST MILFORD — The Time Bank of West Milford is hosting a potluck dinner on Monday, June 24. Join neighbors and Time Bank members to learn more about the Time Bank and how it works.
In addition, there will be a special presentation by Elizabeth Scrimgeour about raw milk. It will cover the nutritional and environmental benefits of this food, frequently asked questions, myth vs. truth, and whatever else time allows.
To live well in a world with shrinking natural resources, we’re going to need to depend not just on family, but on our neighbors, said a statement from the Time Bank organizers. Time Banks build strong local communities through an economy of people taking care of each other.
Whether you’re interested in learning more about the Time Bank or raw milk, this is the event for you. Bring a dish or a non-alcoholic beverage to share. The potluck begins at 7 p.m. and is being held in room 17 of the Hillcrest Community Center, at 1810 Macopin Road in West Milford.
