WEST MILFORD — Join the community on Monday, May 28, for the 68th Memorial Day observance at Memorial Park in the West Milford Town Hall complex, beginning at 10 a.m.

The West Milford Highlander Band, led by Brian McLaughlin, will provide the music. Participating will be officers of American Legion Post 289, VFW Post 9189, local Boy and Girl Scout troops, participants in this year's Boys and Girls State and the VFW's Voice of Democracy contest.

Sponsored by the West Milford Township Council and hosted by the West Milford Veterans Council, Mayor Bettina Bieri will rededicate the memorial.

After the program, the procession will move from town hall, at 1480 Union Valley Road, to the American Legion Hall, at 177 Lincoln Ave., where refreshments will be served. All are encouraged to attend.
