WEST MILFORD — West Milford Community Services and Recreation, in conjunction with A.A.R.P., will be sponsoring a Driver Safety Program on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013.
The class will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an hour break for lunch. The program will be held at the Hillcrest Community Center (room 17), 1810 Macopin Road, West Milford.
The cost is $12 for A.A.R.P. members and $14 for non members. , Members must bring their A.A.R.P. card when they register.
The course helps drivers refine existing skills and develop safe, defensive driving techniques. There are no tests and no behind the wheel.
Upon completing the class, participants will be eligible to receive a state-mandated three-year discount on auto insurance. Call your insurance company to find out the amount of the discount.
Participants may also be eligible to recover two points on their driving record.
