WEST MILFORD — New Jersey will host the National Special Olympic Games in June 2014. Athletes from all over the country will come together to compete in Olympic–style team and individual sports. Nearly 3,500 athletes will compete with the support of their coaches, volunteers, family and friends and spectators to cheer them on. Two of our own West Milford Special Olympic team members have qualified to join these athletes in the 2014 games. Destiny Gerety and C.J. Huerta will be on Team New Jersey Track and Field. Kristi Masone, West Milford's coach, has been selected to be one of the coaches for Team New Jersey Track And Field. The West Milford Special Olympic Team will have a booth at the Autumn Lights Festival on Oct. 12. Stop by to show your support and meet our athletes and their coaches.
