WEST MILFORD The West Milford Health Department's Walking Club will be participating in the upcoming Relay for Life of the Highlands on June 9 and 10, 2012.
The Health Department has been committed to its walking club and all the health benefits associated with walking. The Nursing Division provides a number of cancer screenings and health education to educate the community on cancer prevention and the importance of early intervention. They have decided to combine the two and form a team to continue the fight against cancer.
The Relay for Life will be held June 9 and 10, fromnoon on Saturday to Sunday morning, 5:30. Walkers are not required to attend entire event, of course, which is held at West Milford High School.
