Warwick Valley Chamber plans magical 79th anniversary celebration

WARWICK - The Warwick Valley Chamber of Commerce will mark its 79th anniversary this year with a membership celebration themed "The Magic of Warwick."
The annual event will be held on Sat., Nov. 17 at Hickory Hill Golf Course in Warwick.
The "Magic of Warwick'" night will begin with a cocktail hour and appetizers at 6 p.m. and a heavy buffet to follow (cash bar available).
The Chamber's Membership Event Planning Committee promises it to be a fun and festive evening as Hickory Hill Golf Course is transformed into a nightclub featuring world re-known magician Rocco Silano who will share his unique brand of original and award-winning magic to help celebrate The Chamber's past and present year.
Silano is the recipient of the Merlin and Golden Lion Awards, a two-time winner of the coveted Manhattan Association of Cabarets Award, and has been nominated nine times as Magician of the Year by the Academy of Magical Arts in four different categories.
Warwick Chamber Executive Director Michael Johndrow will offer opening remarks and Board President John Redman will present awards to deserving members.
The annual membership celebration is made possible in part by support from its sponsors.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze level sponsorships are still available.
Gold level Sponsors to date include St. Anthony Community Hospital and Myles Wealth Management.
Seely & Durland along with Warwick ShopRite are Silver level Sponsors and Edward Jones Investments, Riehle Opticians and Warwick Valley Telephone are supporting the event as Bronze level Sponsors.
Additional magic show sponsor levels are also available on a first come-first served basis for Magician/Entertainment and Award Sponsors.
Tickets to the annual celebration are $85 per person. Spouses, guests and friends of the community are encouraged to attend. Reservations are required (seating is limited) and RSVP is requested on or before Oct. 31.
