Although the West Milford Animal Shelter will remain closed to the general public until further notice, the animals in housed there are still in need of homes. Until the coronavirus crisis has passed, the shelter staff will adopt out animals by appointment only.
Anyone in need of services provided by the shelter or interested in adopting a specific animal should email thewmass@hotmail.com or call the shelter phone and leave a message at 973-728-2859 for an appointment. Someone will return the call within 24 hours.
Emergency intake of animals can be handled by Animal Control by calling 973-728-2849.
