    Boats gather at the dam end of Upper Greenwood Lake for the annual fireworks show. Many boats tie up together and enjoy the summer evening while they wait for dusk and the pyrotechnics to begin.

HEWITT — The Friday night sky was ablaze with celebration as the Upper Greenwood Lake Property Owners Association sponsored its annual fireworks extravaganza. The night was perfect, with boats dotting the lake at dusk, waiting for the colorful explosions in the dark June sky.
