West Milford. Scouts thank community for supporting Scouting for Food Donations

BSA Troop 44 and Pack 139 collected and sorted food donations from their Scouting for Food Drive, which was held on Saturday, Nov. 21, at the West Milford Presbyterian Church.

Thanks to the generosity of the West Milford community, more than 3200 items of food were collected (including turkeys, vegetables, stuffing, etc.) for local families for Thanksgiving. They also collected $460 in cash and gift cards for the Food Pantry to help meet the needs of local residents.

The food donations were sorted and packaged by food pantry volunteers and Scouts to provide meals for more than 44 local families.

The scouts of BSA Troops 44B, 44G and Pack 139 wish to thank the community for their support.
