West Milford seniors take gold at tri-county olympics

This year the Senior Olympians participated in the Senior Olympics on May 16 in Wayne Township.
The West Milford Seniors took first place over Wayne and Sparta, which tied for second, Rutherford in third, Randolph in fourth, and Pequannock in fifth place.
This is the fourth year in a row the team brought home the gold.
The seniors took part in corn hole, chicken toss, shuffle board, putting golf, basketball, and frisbee golf.
For the activity of corn hole, Hank Runo for the men took the Gold and for the woman Donna Lavornia received the gold medal and Christal Dygos won the Ssilver.
In shuffle board, Dick Worth won the silver and Bill Novak won bronze.
In basketball Christal Dygos won the gold and Ron Thoresz won bronze.
In frisbee golf, Jack Ryan won the silver and Hank Runo won the bronze.
In chicken toss for the women, Gail Kahler won the silver and for the men Sal Leto won the silver.
