WMCC holding 'Touch a Truck' at Recreation Center on Sunday

    West Milford Competition Cheer is hosting a "Touch a Truck" event at the West Milford Recreation Center (upper parking lot) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday Oct. 20.

    Young and old attendees will be able to explore these vehicles, sit in the driver's seats, honk the horns, and get a look at the controls.

    Below is a list of trucks that will be attending.

    Passaic County Bomb Squad, Passaic County Scuba Unit, Passaic County SWAT Team, West Milford School Bus, P&W Dump Truck, West Milford DPW, WM Fire Company #6, West Milford First Aid Squad, Accurate Well & Pump/Slater Drilling, VP Cycle, Kelly Springfield Trucking, Tanis Concrete, and Xtreme Snow Pros.

    The cost is $5 per person or $20 per family.

    WMCC was created for the competitive cheerleader who is looking to take their skills to the next level, according to the organization's website.

    WMCC is a recreation level competition cheer program, that combines cheerleading, dance, stunting and tumbling into a performance routine.
