WOLF DEN VISIT WOLF PRESERVE

| 26 Jul 2012 | 12:22

The Wolf Den of Pack 159 visited the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia last month. As we watched and listened to packs of Tundra, Timber, and Arctic wolves, we also learned about the social structure of wolf packs, their eating habits, their interaction with man and many other interesting facts. We then observed bobcats and foxes. Pictured are Jessica Brigante, Lilly Rodek, Michael Brigante, Timothy Butcher, Avery Thurstons, Sean Kenyon, Matthew Sprung, Ryan Sprung, Joshua Connors, and Zachary Rodek. Pack 159 is sponsored by Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Hewitt. New members are always welcome to this scouting group. Boys in grades 1 through 5 are welcome to join the pack.
