Zumba for the cure

— We race for the cure, walk for the cure, and on Monday, Sept. 24, you will have the opportunity to Zumba for the cure.
Michelle Toale, owner of Precision Dance Academy and West Milford Fitness, is hosting a Zumbathon charity event to raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
All proceeds go directly to the organization.
The event kicks off with a "Ladies Night" starting at 5:30 p.m. at the West Milford PAL, where various vendors who will be supporting the fundraiser and offering donations to be raffled to help reach the overall goal. Vendors include Tastefully Simple, Lia Sophia, Christina's Cakes, Arbonne, Chair Massage, and Mary Kay. These vendors will be there for the entire event, until 8:30 p.m., so even if someone doesn't want to take the Zumbaclass, they are welcome to come have fun shopping and watch the class going on.
Starting at 6:30 p.m. is the main event of the evening - the Zumba class. Instructors Toale, Sandra Lee Schaublin, Danielle Repola, Christina Toale, and Gina Edmond will be teaching an energy packed, inspiring, hour and a half Zumba class.
For those who do not already know, Zumba is a Latin inspired, cardio dance workout that has taken the world by storm for over a decade now. Zumba fuses dance styles from around the world including Salsa, Merengue, Belly Dance, Hip Hop, Flamenco, Cha Cha, Cumbia and many more to give an intense, calorie burning and amazingly fun workout. Zumba not only is the most popular workout out there, but it also gives instructors wonderful opportunities to host charity events such as this one.
Following the class at 8:15 p.m., complimentary refreshments will be served and raffles drawn.
Tickets for the Zumba class are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. All monies collected go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Tickets are not necessary for just the Ladies Night portion of the event.

The PAL Building is located at the intersection of Ridge and Cahill Cross Roads, behind Lake Melody.
