WEST MILFORD A 57-year-old West Milford woman apparently drove away from her home last week and has not been seen since. The police are investigating the disappearance of Linda Bilinski, who was last seen by her husband on the morning of Tuesday, January 31. According to police, the woman apparently left her home at Bald Eagle Commons sometime during the day after her husband left for work. They believe she left in her charcoal grey 1992 Honda Accord with New Jersey license plates HT6203. However, she left all of her belongings behind at her apartment, including her coat and purse. Bilinski has a history of medical problems and takes various medications, all of which were left behind at the apartment. Before moving to West Milford in 2003, Bilinski lived in Wayne, and she is known to frequent the shopping malls there. On Feb. 5 an extensive ground and air search was conducted by members of the West Milford Township Police Department, the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department, the West Milford Search and Rescue Unit and the New Jersey State Police Helicopter, but to no avail. The case is being treated as a missing/endangered person due to the woman’s medical condition. Bilinski is a white female, age 57, 5-03” tall, weighing 185 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes. She walks with a limp due to arthritis in her knee. Anyone who has seen her or her vehicle is asked to contact the West Milford Township Police Department at 973-728-2800.
