Every year, Macopin Middle School in West Milford participates in the National Science League’s Academic Science Achievement test. This year the eighth grade physical science classes placed 46th in the nation and fourth in the state. The seventh grade life science classes placed 89th in the nation and 12th in the state. This year’s high achieving students were: Eighth graders from highest score down: Nathenial Yuhas, Christopher Cowdin, Kaitlin Sodon, Stanley Hankinson, Joshua Binder, Alexander Weite, Adam Boshart, Kenneth Canali, David Poganski, and Christopher Wagner. Seventh grade high achievers from highest score down: Shawn Harrington, Max Desmond, Christopher Vidulich, Erica Mariani, Zachary Smith, Brett Grey, Katie Ronan, Nathan Soodak, Matt Berry, Grace Soriano and Katelynn Timony.
