Misty arrived at the West Milford Animal Shelter just before Christmas and was soon named Mistletoe. She is about a year old with a rich brown coat of fur and large pointy ears that won’t flop over. She is very friendly and seems to always be smiling. Shelter volunteers have been able to teach her basic manners, but she will need further training with her new adoptive family. Because of her high energy level she would be best suited for a family without children or children age 16 and up. Misty likes other dogs (but not cats); however, in her new household, she should be either the only dog or the other dog should be of the opposite sex. She is posing with Sandy Bonfiglio who organized the Pet Rock fundraiser for the shelter.
