Last Saturday Music at the Mission presented Graham Parker, a singer songwriter who has been recording since the 70s. He formed Graham Parker and the Rumour in the summer of 1975 and they released their first album in January of 1976. The band played together until 1980 and had several top 20 hits in Britain. Parker then went solo and has recorded numerous albums since then. He has also written several novels, the first one at the age of 21. The show on Saturday opened with singer, songwriter and cellist Lindsay Mac. Mac is from New England and has a non-traditional method of playing the cello. Music at the Mission holds one of the largest most successful open mics once a month and presents numerous musical acts throughout the year. (Photos submitted by Tracy Stoft)
