Hewitt Now they know what it’s like to be on the other side of the desk. As part of Catholic Schools Week, some of the older children at Our Lady Queen of Peace School participated in Role Reversal Day, where the children switched roles with the teachers and staff. It was fun as younger students were taught by some of their older schoolmates. Sixth graders Billy Lungren and James Foley, above, used the black board to teach some second graders. Sixth grader Darian Giacomarro, below, sat with some of his first grade students while their regular teacher, Melissa Lisanti, looked on. Catholic Schools Week ran from Jan. 31 through Feb. 5. Our Lady Queen of Peace celebrated the week with different events including a pancake breakfast, a luncheon honoring the faculty and staff, and a staff/student volleyball game.
