Valerie Panek of West Milford has been awarded a prestigious Fairleigh S. Dickinson Scholarship and will attend Fairleigh Dickinson University's College at Florham campus in September. She will major in the Hotel, Restaurant, Tourism Management program. Panek is a graduate of West Milford High School and is the daughter of Wayne and Patty Liebeskind. This award, granted annually to a select group of incoming students, is based on their academic records and co-curricular accomplishments, as well as campus interviews with faculty members. The University's College at Florham is located on the former Vanderbilt-Twombly estate in Madison.
