Panel on domestic violence slated

    Pompton Plains —The Current Health Trends Task Force of Chilton Memorial Hospital will offer “Behind Closed Doors: When Violence Hits Home,” a panel presentation on domestic violence, on May 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. Representatives from various organizations will discuss the warning signs and prevalence of domestic violence. The panel includes: Chilton Memorial Hospital, Passaic County Women’s Center, New Jersey Sexual Assault Center, New Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter, Women in Transition, Jewish Family Services, Morris County Prosecutors Office, Shelter Our Sisters, New Bridge Services and Pequannock Crisis Response Team. The discussion will be held at The Collins Pavilion of Chilton Memorial Hospital and refreshments will be served. This is a free program, but registration is required by May 7.
