WEST MILFORD The Parks and Recreation Department is offering a track and field camp for students in grades 5 through 12. This new camp is designed to both introduce youngsters to the world of track and field and also to provide expert training for those athletes already involved in track and field who are looking for ways to improve their technique and performance. Camp directors are Judy Muesel, head coach for the girls track and field team at West Milford High School and Branko Miric, who also coaches at the high school. Two sessions of camp are being offered: July 17 to July 21 and July 24 to July 28. Children in grades 5 and 6 will attend in the morning and children in grades 7 to 12 will attend in the afternoon. The camp is being held at the West Milford High School track. The cost is $60 for one week and $100 for two weeks. Registration forms are available at the West Milford Parks and Recreation office, located in the Hillcrest Community Center.
