Thunder in the Highlands will be a holiday celebration sponsored by West Milford Parks and Recreation. Scheduled for July 3 (rain date July 9) at the Jungle Habitat property, this family oriented event will begin at 3 p.m. Proposed attractions (to be determined by vendor response), include: car show, motorcycle rally, live music, food vendors, carnival games, children's activities, pony rides, merchandise vendors and of course, fireworks. Admission to the event is $10 per carload, good for the entire day and night. Fireworks will begin about 9:30 p.m. Vendors are invited to contact Parks and Recreation to reserve a spot. Non profit groups may have a spot for free.
