WEST MILFORD Looking for a valentine and everlasting love? Come meet Poncho at the West Milford Animal Shelter. Poncho is a large, beautiful orange and white neutered male cat with looks and personality. He doesn’t just like to be held, he likes to hug back. When being held, Poncho will either put his paws around your neck or melt into your chest while purring and giving adoring looks. He is very tolerant of other cats and children. When Poncho arrived at the shelter, he had an injury on his tail and a section of his fur had to be shaved so the area could be treated. His tail has healed and his fur is starting to grow back. The shelter is open for adoptions Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday evenings 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 973-728-2859.
