The West Milford Animal Shelter will be sponsoring a Purse and Accessories Party on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at the West Milford Elks Lodge at 1860 Union Valley Road from 1:30 – 5:30 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be available. Choose from a wide variety of purses, jewelry, wallets, sunglasses and athletic wear. A great selection of items for gifts for Mothers Day, birthdays, graduation or just to treat yourself. The West Milford Animal Shelter is a 100 percent volunteer organization and proceeds from this event will help to provide for the over 1,000 homeless animals that the volunteers care for annually. The shelters cost are especially high during the spring and summer months because of the large amount of incoming kittens and cats. There will be a donation bin available for donations of dry or canned dog food, and kitten or cat food, paper towels, rubber gloves, bleach and items that can be used for bedding.
