Wilkes-Barre, Pa Wilkes University head football coach Frank Sheptock has announced that football standouts Kenneth Quazza, David Went, Mike McAloon, James Waddilove, and Corey Carter have decided to attend Wilkes in the fall. Quazza was a two-year starter for West Milford High School, where he played on both the offensive and defensive lines. The 6-1, 250-pounder concluded his high school career with 42 tackles, including nine behind the line of scrimmage. He was responsible for one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. Quazza also racked up four sacks during his campaign with West Milford. For his efforts he was named captain in his senior year. Quazza was a two-time All-Conference Offensive Lineman and was also named to the All-Conference Defensive Line. In his senior year, he was honored by the Highlanders with the Defensive Most Dedicated Award. Quazza, who also participated in baseball for the Highlanders, was an honor student and a member of DEC A. Kenneth is planning on pursing his degree in secondary education. Went, McAloon, Waddilove and Carter are all from Morris County.
