Throughout the months of April and May, over 85 children of Saint Joseph’s parish received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. Nine separate Masses were celebrated in order to accommodate the children, their families and friends as well as parishioners. Under the guidance of Sr. Geraldine Corio, PBVM, Director of Religious Education, and with the help of their parents and volunteer catechists, the First Communicants were well prepared. “What a beautiful display of faith,” Sr. Corio said of the celebrations.
