The West Milford Chamber of Commerce awarded two $1000 scholarships this week. One was funded entirely by the chamber, the other from the chamber and the Wilbur Fredricks Scholarship Fund combined. One of the scholarships went to West Milford senior Thomas Finch who is headed to Drum Tech to study sound engineering. The other was given to Maura Tappen (pictured above with JoAnn TenHoeve, president of the chamber; mother Ellen and father Dennis. Tappen is is West Milford's 2005 Valedictorian and is headed to Dartmouth to study pre-med.
