WEST MILFORD West Milford Parks and Recreation, Office of Older Adult Services is looking for senior citizens to participate in the 18th Annual Senior Citizen Olympics to be held in Rutherford on Thursday June 7, 2007. This event includes senior citizens from Hasbrouck Heights, Pequannock, Randolph, Rutherford, Sparta and West Milford. The Olympic games range from the Chicken Toss, Soccer Kick, T-Ball, Basketball, Horseshoes and Frisbee Golf with gold, silver and bronze medals to be awarded to winners. The games begin as each group of seniors moves to various events. The groups are made up of twenty-four seniors, four from each town. Each senior competes as an individual, with his/her scores combined for total town score. While the scores are being tallied lunch and entertainment is provided.
