WEST MILFORD — The West Milford High School cheerleaders held a clothing drive on Saturday, Sept. 6, and collected 266 bags of clothing! Quite a haul, all of which will go to help people in need. The money raised from the drive will help support the costs of their season.
The cheerleaders will be hosting a "flapjack fundraiser" at Applebee’s on Route 23 in Butler on Sunday, Oct. 26. The cost is $10 per ticket, which can be purchased from any of the cheerleaders or by contacting Linda at PLJJH1@aol.com. Tickets are only being sold in advance; there will be none at the door. The proceeds will be used to offset the cost of uniforms, training, and competition costs.
The 2014-2015 varsity cheerleaders are: Michelle Damelio, Sydney Farrar, Kristin Giro, Courtney Schouten, Katie Waldo, Shana Bigley, Melanie Maroun, Kaitlyn Klosz, Autumn Pilatowski, Brianna Scangarello, Ciara Torres, Shannon Veninger, Jennifer Heisler, Alison Reid, and Kayla Drol.
