This past week, the West Milford Highlander Football team played their final game of the season. The Highlanders pulled away with a thrilling 20-14 victory over Ramsey, ending the year with a 3-7 overall record. The Highlander player of the week this week is Corey Curran. "Corey stepped up for his team and became the starting quarterback two days prior to the game due to injuries and illness at the position," said coach Donald Dougherty. "Corey ended the game with over 150 total yards. He also threw for an 85-yard touchdown pass to Noah Provenzano. The other two Highlander scores came on a two-yard run by Anthony Battinelli, and a run by Noah Provenzano off a blocked punt by Liam Lakardis. The West Milford Football Program thanks the entire West Milford community for their support throughout the season.
