EAST RUTHERFORD For the fourth time in five years, the New York Giants have raised ticket prices across the board. The team announced Friday that all tickets will cost $5 more for the 2005 season. The price of upper and lower tier tickets will rise to $70 and mezzanine tickets to $80. That makes it the third straight year the team has increased ticket prices by $5. In 2002, the Giants raised only the mezzanine section by $5. Season ticket prices rose $10 on all tickets in 2001, the year after the Giants went to the Super Bowl. Season ticket holders were to be notified of the increases in a letter accompanying their statement for their 2005 tickets, the team said. Last season, the Giants' gross average ticket price of $66.93 was 14th-highest among the 32 National Football League teams. The team's 2005 schedule will be announced on April 13. The Giants finished 6-10 last season.
