    High Point 5, Hopatcong 0 Lauren Tracy served blanks in shutting out Alicia Plinto 6-0, 6-0 in the clash of No. 1 singles players as High Point rolled to a 5-0 victory over Hopatcong. Tracy was named the SCIL/Sparta Athletic Club Player of the Week. Marly Roche and Laura Bayse coasted to straight set victories in the second and third singles slots. The No. 1 doubles team of Kelly Costello and Michelle Morawsky won 6-3, 6-2 while the second doubles duo of Gabrielle Carpenter and Deanna Costa breezed to a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Lenape 3, Kittatinny 2 Annastassia Kowalski returned from a foot injury that had delayed the start of her season by posting a 6-4, 6-3 triumph at first singles in leading Lenape Valley to a 3-2 win over Kittatinny. Deniz Uzel won 6-3, 6-0 at second singles and the Patriots’ second doubles team of Lauren Fersch and Megan Gallo won in three sets by scores of 6-1, 5-7, 6-3. Sparta 4, PJ 1 Sparta defeated Pope John 4-1, sweeping the doubles matches. The top tandem of Kate Dowd and Carly Mora won 6-0, 6-1 while the No. 2 team of Sarah Foster and Sarah Hetzler coasted to a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Tricha Ashmore and Michelle Hardy won at second and third singles. Newton 3, Wallkill 2 Jywel Almirante and Erin Henegan posted 6-0, 6-1 wins at first and second singles to spur Newton to a 3-2 victory over Wallkill Valley. The second doubles team of Alyssa Graham and Megan Muccilli added the crucial third team point with a 6-2, 6-3 win.
