Sparta - With the water skiing season over, three members of the Lake Mohawk Ski Hawks water ski show team took off their wetsuits and skis, donned helmets and mounted bikes to participate in the MS100 Bike Tour, a fundraiser for multiple sclerosis. Pedaling more than 100 miles during the two-day event through New Jersey, the trio raised some $16,000 toward the cause. They were part of the corporate bike team Dassault Falcon Jet, whose 17 riders raised a combined total of $75,000. “It’s rewarding when the Ski Hawks can give back to the community and those in need” said Ski Hawks president Brian Foley. “In the past, the team has also made a meaningful contribution to Katrina victims and Ginnie’s House. It’s in effect our way of ‘kids helping kids.’”
