Shane Edwards toured the nine-holes with an even par round of 35 while Chris Graham was one over at 36 and Kyle Reinhardt posted a score of 37. Kittatinny 161, Sparta 187 Kittatinny cruised to a 161-187 win over Sparta at Hidden Acres in Sandyston. Joe Lampeter, Chris Mikulka and Dave Salantiri carded five-over par round of 40 to lead the Cougars while Kenny MacFarlane was low for the Spartans when he turned in a score of 44. Pope 164, Vernon 173 Chris Hennessey and Mike Holendstein posted scores of 40 to lead Pope John to a 164-173 win over Vernon over the Rail Nine at Great Gorge. Dan DiClemente and Sean Lennon were low for the Vikings, turning in rounds of 41. Wallkill 174, Tech 217 Wallkill Valley rolled to a 174-217 triumph over Sussex Tech at Black Bear. The Rangers’ Tom Pleskach turned in a three-over par round of 39 to lead all the golfers while teammates Derek Ulicni (42), Nick Amato (46) and Kevin Reidinger (47) completed the team scoring. Matt Wamback’s round of 52 was low for the Mustangs. Vernon 104, Newton 127 In an SCIL girls’ matchup, Vernon defeated Newton 104-127 at the Newton Country Club. Jessica Sponaugle carded a nine-hole round of 48 over the par-36 course to post the low score. Her teammate Courtney Verblaauw fired a 56. Meri Beth Beliveau was low for the Lady Braves, shooting a 58 while Samantha Bortel registered a round of 69.
