Shupak shines at Drew Invitational Sparta’s Paul Shupak turned in a gold medal performance in the 11th Annual Drew Invitational contested on the campus of Drew University in Madison on Thursday. Shupak glided over the 55-meter high hurdles to win in a time of 7.95 seconds. He also picked up a bronze medal when he was clocked in 6.83 seconds in the 55-meter dash. Cailin Lynam of Sparta raced to a third-place finish in the girls’ 800-meter run, crossing the line in 2:29.2. Two days earlier, Jefferson sent a contingent to the 26th Annual Dick DeSchriver Invitational that was also held at Drew University.
