The West Milford varsity field hockey team opened its season with an overtime scoreless tie with Wayne Hills last Thursday. Senior goalie Jenna Bednarovsky had 14 saves, holding the line on Wayne Hills. West Milford had their opportunities with 20 shots on goal but couldn't get it in the goal.
