West Milford High School varsity cheerleaders placed second in their division at COA Midwest National Championship on Sunday, Feb. 23, in Columbus, Ohio. The Highlanders were in the Advanced Varsity Cheer Division and competed against several teams, including Paramus Catholic from Paramus, which finished third. West Milford competed both Saturday and Sunday. The girls and their coaches were thrilled with their routines and the result. Now they head to States on Sunday at the Sunbank Arena in Trenton.
